How It Works
The Commission Process
Consultation
We start with a conversation about your space, your aesthetic, and your vision. This can happen in person, by phone, or over email. Mijares will ask about dimensions, color palette, the feeling you want the work to evoke, and how it will be displayed.
Concept
Based on your brief, Mijares develops a concept for the work. For larger or more complex pieces, a preliminary sketch or mood reference may be shared for your approval before work begins.
Creation
Mijares creates your original work by hand in his Miami studio. Timelines vary based on scale and complexity — typically 4 to 12 weeks. You will be kept informed throughout the process.
Delivery
Your finished work is carefully packaged and delivered. White-glove installation can be arranged for South Florida clients. Works can also be shipped nationally and internationally.
